Ahh long weekends
Not that I’ve gone and done anything spectaular this weekend, just taken a break from a lot of things (including work) and just did damn near nothing. It would have been a bit more enjoyable if Halifax wasn’t going through a bit of a summer cold snap right now (~15 deg C).
Watched our boys thouroughly trounce Russia in the World Cup of Hockey on Saturday night. Not that Russia didn’t play well because they did, but Canada simply outplayed them. European players aren’t used to the more physical game we play on this side of the pond and it showed. Nothing better than watching hockey in the summer with a beer in hand and some fried pepperoni.
I still haven’t gotten my picture galleries back online and am contemplating just settling for Gallery instead of re-writing the lightweight gallery I had before. Plus I have to start taking more pictures again, for some reason I haven’t taken any in quite a while which is rather out of character for me.
On the quick side projects front I have started coding an Apple Trailers script for Xbox Media Center so you can view them from an internet-enabled xbox. Mode about this once I get a little further.
